Dave and Ashley
On July 24, 2018 Ashley Hiatt and Dave Gallagher welcomed their son Silas James Gallagher to the world. He is a beautiful little bundle of joy. Unfortunately, since then, Ashley has had complications relating to her emergency C-section. She was taken by flight for life July 28th to North Platte where they were able to reassess the severity of her condition. She was again taken by flight for life to University of Colorado which is nearly 5 hours from their home. As of now, Ashley has had 5 surgeries including her C-section and may require more. She is battling a severe infection, and other complications. She is currently under sedation to help along her recovery. She has a long road of ahead of her in order to come home to her baby. Currently the doctors estimate, this may take weeks to months to fully recover from. This means that Dave will need to temporarily relocate to be with Ashley, being away from their home and work. As of now, there is an additional expense getting a hotel across the street from the hospital so that baby Silas is near his parents, and Dave can bounce between him and Ashley.
Their idea of becoming a parent, has been flipped upside down. Silas is the star in the night sky, and the goal is to raise money for their monthly household bills, their travel, their family to travel, and any unforeseen events that may arise. We would like for Dave and the family to be able to focus on Ashley's recovery, and the well being of their new baby without worrying about their finances.
