My name is Jessica, and my girlfriend/partner/loveofmylife is called Charlie. I am a Registered Veterinary Nurse, and Charlie is a Nursery Practicioner.

We have been together since December 2020, and from day dot we both said the same thing - we would LOVE to start a family. ‍❤️‍

Well, 4.5 years later and here we are, starting the process. However, if you’ve made it this far then you’ve probably guessed that for us two girlies, the baby making process isn’t going to be very easy.

Now, I like to think we are good with our money. We both have savings for rainy days, and are sensible with our pay checks (I even have a spreadsheet for our finances). BUT - with one round of IUI costing approximately £2300, and one round of IVF costing upwards of £4000… well you can see what I’m getting at.

We are by no means expecting our treatment to be fully funded. But even just a little dent in this whopper of a fertility clinic bill would relieve our stress a huge amount, and help us move towards starting the family we have dreamed of. ✨
