Hello Everyone,
My name is Nathalie and I am raising money for my two dear friends, Joseph and Alison Potter, as many of you know they welcomed into this world beautiful little Amelia Grace Potter on April 12, 2022 at 2:44pm.
Amelia Grace was born with a heart defect causing her to have two holes in her fragile heart with multiple other complications..
On April 18th Amelia had her very first heart surgery… everything went well.
On April 20th Amelia lost her heart beat.. doctors did everything they could and got her back. That afternoon Amelia was placed on a heart and lung life support machine.
On April 21st Amelia had her second open heart surgery to tighten up a band on her pulmonary artery. Surgery went well.
The following days after Amelia started to decline and the doctors stated there was no more they can do and gave Alison and Joe the hardest decision to make of taking little Amelia off life support…
As you can imagine this was the worst news they can receive. Just a baby less than 2 weeks ago.
On April 26 at 2:01pm at 14 days old Baby Amelia Grace Potter crossed over to heaven, she passed in Alison’s arms.
So you may be wondering why am I telling you this story. Well all of this comes with quite a lot of expenses. Just alone the hospital bill and now the cost of a memorial/cremation is a lot of a young couple having to deal with after losing their first born child!
So let me break it down for you…
$2,500 for a direct cremation.
$10,000 for medical bills.
$1,000 for the celebration of life ceremony.
We know there’s a possibility of not meeting our goal but anything will help.. Alison and Joe will really appreciate any help that is offered.
