Bring Arty Home From Afghanistan
Donation protected

From my sister-in-law
Arty was a stray puppy that has become a member of my husband, Eric's team while they are deployed to Afghanistan. While he is not filling any official positions, he has become a beneficial member of the team. Dogs like Arty provide an extra set of eyes and ears for the teams at their camps.
Their camp is unlike many of the large camps where traditional military members stay and have many of the same conveniences as home. Their camps are oftentimes austere and totally dependent on the limited number of individuals within their camp walls to provide the protection they need. Arty not only helps the team pull guard, he also is all ears and no judgement when they need to get something off their mind.
The deployment for my husband's team is over halfway complete and when they leave, Arty will have to remain and fend for himself. Without the team taking care of him, his days will be numbered. This is why we would like to return the favor to Arty and bring him back to the United States.
The process to bring him back home is lengthy, expensive, and can also be quite dangerous, but he deserves it. Just like any dog that we have here in America, they give just to receive some love in return. Please donate what you can (every little bit helps) so that Arty can have a loving home here and be far from the dangers that he would face otherwise.
Thank you!
