On May 2nd 2025 at about 3 AM, my father, Mario Alexander Mejia, Yogi as most knew him, was taken to the Hospital Central de Tijuana. Over the years he was fighting a long tough battle with diabetes, which brought many complications to his health. Yogi unfortunately passed on May 2, 2025 due to these complications.

Most of Yogis life was spent away from his family due to uncontrollable circumstances. One of the things in life that drove him was the love for his family.All my father wanted was to be home in Inglewood to be closer to his family and friends. As his dying wish I would like to bring him home from Tijuana, Mexico & have his body rest alongside his mother, brother, sister and grandmother here at Inglewood Cemetery. My fathers passing came unexpected and has been devastating to my family and I. Anything helps in making Yogis final wish come true.
