Synopsis of the show:

Wong Side Of Time is a time-bending musical that follows two rebellious queer women—Anna May Wong, the pioneering Chinese American movie star, and Lucy, a modern-day Asian queer artist.

Set between the glitz of 1935 Hollywood and the vibrancy of 2025 Los Angeles, the musical explores their shared struggles, desires, and dreams, as they navigate the complexities of being Asian American women. Through their swapped lives, they discover strength, solidarity, and the power to rewrite their own stories.

SheNYC is an off-Broadway summer festival that presents fully staged productions of new works, and has been a strong launching platform for new musicals and plays.
