Help Me Bring Willow Home—A Reunion 10+ Years in the Making
Hi, my name is Paige, and I’m reaching out with a deeply emotional and hopeful heart.
Over 10 years ago, I was separated from my beloved dog, Willow, under circumstances that were out of my control. I was just a kid, and despite loving her deeply, I didn’t have the power to make the decisions that affected her future. Not a day has gone by that I haven’t thought about her, missed her, and wished I could have kept her safe and by my side.
Recently, I received the unimaginable news: Willow has been found. After all these years, she is alive—but she’s in rough shape. She was found dehydrated, dirty, and neglected. Hearing this shattered me, but also lit a fire in my soul. I want to bring her back home—not just because I’ve always loved her, but to show her that she was never forgotten and will never be let go again.
Willow was found in Arizona, far from where I live. I’m now preparing for the trip down there and back to bring her home safely.
I’ve loved animals my whole life and have always dreamed of giving them the best, safest, most loving home possible. Today, I have that kind of home—and I want to give it to Willow for the rest of her days.
I’m raising funds to help cover:
• The trip to Arizona and back to bring Willow home safely
• Her initial vet visits, testing, and necessary care to get her healthy and comfortable again
• Any supplies or special accommodations she’ll need as an elderly dog finally finding her forever rest
This is about more than just reuniting with an old pet. It’s about giving Willow the peaceful, love-filled life she deserved all along—and helping me heal a wound I’ve carried since childhood.
If you can give, thank you from the bottom of my heart. If you can’t but want to share this with others, that means the world, too. I just want to bring her home and surround her with nothing but love, safety, and dignity for the rest of her days.
Thank you for reading. Thank you for believing in second chances.
With love,
Paige
