Support the Rescue Kitties at Whisker Wonderland!

Hi!! My name is Anna and I have been rescuing cats for the past 4 years. I have personally witnessed the crisis with homeless cats in the city of Pittsburgh, and have dedicated my life to make a positive change! This is my dream project and I am SO EXCITED to share it with the world!

Whisker Wonderland is a cat lounge and adoption center with a primary focus on raising awareness and implementing change for homeless cats in the community of Pittsburgh. WW postures as a sanctuary for both humans and cats, providing an imaginative and immersive experience for people to interact with rescued community cats.

For a small entrance fee, patrons get a whimsical experience, as the lounge features murals painted by local artists and handmade cat climbing structures made from repurposed materials. Visitors can come just to pet cats, to work/study, spend time with friends, or to potentially adopt. There is also a focus on inclusion and providing a calm, therapeutic environment for individuals with special needs. Whisker Wonderland also partners with other small businesses to create events for both children and adults.

Whisker Wonderland also serves as a community hub: resources and training are provided to the public to help educate and create change for stray and feral cats.

As I believe that art, music, animals, and nature are the healing attributes of this world, these are the focal points inside the lounge. I wanted to create a whimsical wonderland for my kitties, to help them recover from the harsh lives they lived outside. Many of the cats here have been rescued by me or by my rescue friends. I often rescue cats that have serious medical issues and need additional care. This can be quite costly, and help is desperately needed!
