Bring Wayi's family to safety in Arizona

Hello, my name is Wayi, and I'm 23 years old. Originally from South Sudan, I've spent the majority of my life as a refugee, navigating through various countries in search of stability and opportunity. From Sudan to Egypt, Israel to South Sudan, and finally to Uganda, my family and I have faced the uncertainties of civil wars, never knowing if we would survive.
Despite the upheaval, I've been fortunate to pursue my education, thanks to the support of an Israeli NGO called Become. Through their assistance, I excelled in elementary school and gained access to an excellence program in high school, eventually completing my education at an international school in Tel Aviv. Currently, I'm enrolled in a Double Major BA program in Government and Sustainability at Reichman University, where I'm in the honors program, nearing the completion of my degree.
The challenges I've faced have taught me resilience, perseverance, and optimism. My education has empowered me with the tools to make a difference for other refugees and vulnerable populations someday.
However, my family's experience has been different. My mother and three brothers remain refugees in Uganda since the outbreak of the South Sudanese Civil War in 2013. While my brothers are fortunate to receive education assistance from Become, my mother works as a nanny in Entebbe. As the eldest brother, I feel a deep responsibility to ensure a better life for them.
My mother's strength and resilience, despite facing immense challenges, inspire me. Now, with the opportunity for them to start anew in the USA, thanks to the Welcome Corps, I'm determined to do everything in my power to make that dream a reality for them.
By contributing to this GoFundMe, you'll be joining us on our journey towards a brighter future in the United States. For many refugees worldwide, the prospect of a better life remains elusive. Despite the tensions in the world, our hope for a better future endures. It's this hope that has driven me since childhood, and it's this hope that I want to give my family too.
Thank you for considering supporting us on this journey. Together, we can make a difference and create a better world for those who have endured so much.
