Bring Von Sims Home for a Final Goodbye

On January 27th, La’Shavon “Von” Sims was found unconscious, on the cold pavement near a school in Portland, Oregon. Von was a cherished brother, son, cousin and friend to many. He was incredibly compassionate, generous, sensitive and humble. He naturally wanted to improve and bring happiness to every life he touched. He left behind his parents, 4 brothers, 3 sisters, Morpheus the bearded dragon and Ace the ball python. At the age of 23, he left our world far too soon.

Our family desperately needs assistance to honor the life of Von. We are reaching out to the community in addition to our family and friends for support in covering the costs of a memorial service. Every donation will go towards helping our family afford a celebration of life and get Von transferred to his home town, Seattle, WA. to be buried. A contribution of any amount will be greatly appreciated and will help bring just a little bit of peace during this impossibly challenging time.
