Bring Ugo and Shelby Home to Forget Me Not Farm

Here at Forget Me Not Farm Children’s Services we work to end animal cruelty by providing forever homes to abused and neglected animals. Today, Ugo and Shelby, a miniature donkey and pony, need our help- and yours.

Ugo and Shelby were rescued from Texas kill pens by Good Samaritans. We are dearly grateful to the dedicated and loving individuals who facilitated their initial rescues, and saved the lives of these resilient and beautiful animals.

We are looking to raise funds to help their transition and bring Ugo and Shelby home to Forget Me Not Farm. Though slaughterhouses and kill pens are never nice to think of, it is with great relief that Ugo and Shelby were able to escape such fate, and with deep gratitude we thank those who intervened- now Ugo and Shelby can enjoy the peace & joy ever-present at Forget Me Not Farm.

We are eager to welcome them to their forever home!

Since the passing of our beloved Carmen last summer (30 yr/old miniature donkey), we have been keeping an eye out, and our hearts open, for other miniature horses/donkeys to join our crew. Though Carmen can never be replaced, her long-time stall-mate Starburst is ready for some company, and our farm family is ready to grow.

It happens to be the perfect time for us to welcome these sweet creatures here as well. As the school year wraps up, our farm staff has ample time and attention to focus on our new friends and help them adjust to their new home, and the many fun and cute animals now in their family!
