Hi my name is Lisa and I am crowdfunding to help bring a cat and her four kittens to the UK

Tzatziki is a young cat herself and is one of thousands of stray cats in Greece. She gave birth to four kittens on a hotel balcony whilst I was on holiday. Despite her young age, she is a fantastic mother and hardly leaves the babies sight except to use the toilet or eat herself. The babies are doing so well, putting on weight and have started to open their eyes. Unfortunately the chances of Tzatziki and her kittens making it past the winter are very slim. Many cats and kittens die of the cold or starvation once the tourist season is over and Tzatziki and her babies are likely to become another statistic.

There are amazing volunteers on the island of Crete such as Rula and Gina who work tirelessly to try to feed as many stray cats as possible throughout the year and work to TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) as many as finds will allow but with the shear amount of stray cats, this is a never ending and very expensive task.

I am raising funds to bring Tzatziki and her babies to the UK where they can live a life that all cats deserve to live. Where food isn’t hard to come by and where they will have a cozy bed and toys and all the love they need. Any extra funds I can raise will be given to Rula and Gina in Crete to continue their amazing work in protecting the stray cats and hopefully neutering as many as possible for this to no longer be such an issue.
