Help Bring Tyshea and Her Family Home Safely from Jamaica After Hurricane Melissa

Hi, my name is Angelina Roldan, and I’m from Avondale, Arizona. I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of my best friend, Tyshea R., and her family, who are currently stranded in Montego Bay, Jamaica after Hurricane Melissa devastated the area.

Tyshea and her husband traveled to Jamaica to celebrate their 15-year wedding anniversary — a trip meant to be filled with love and joy. Unfortunately, what started as a beautiful celebration turned into a frightening and stressful experience when Hurricane Melissa hit the island.

Due to the hurricane, airports have been shut down, flights canceled, and transportation disrupted, leaving them unable to return home as planned. They have been forced to extend their stay, and the unexpected costs are becoming overwhelming.

How the funds will be used:

All donations will go directly toward helping Tyshea and her family cover essential and emergency expenses caused by being stranded, including:

Hotel and lodging costs (for additional nights until flights resume)

Food and water while they remain in Jamaica

Baby supplies, including diapers, pull-ups, wipes, and formula

Transportation fees once travel becomes available again

Airport parking fees for their car back home

Household bills that are now overdue because they’ve been unable to work during this time

I will be personally withdrawing the funds and sending them directly to Tyshea to assist her family immediately while they are still stranded.

Tyshea is a kind, loving wife, mother, and friend who has always been there for others. Now she and her family need our help to get back home safely and recover from this unexpected hardship.
