Hi, I’m Nick — a writer, an adventurer, and man of many ideas... and misplaced wallets.

I’m writing a trilogy of magical, meaningful, slightly chaotic adventure books for kids aged 8+ (including the grown-ups who still love a good quest). These stories are full of mystery, volcanoes, ancient relics, weird snacks, and kids who are brave in their own beautifully imperfect ways.

Now, I’m crowdfunding Phase 1 — to professionally edit, illustrate, and publish the first book:

Ezra Malone and the Scorpion Stone.

Because every great adventure begins with one small decision. Mine was: “Sure, I’ll write a kids book. Oh...wait, now I'm writing three simultaneously, wild."

About the Trilogy

This isn’t just one story. It’s three.

Each book follows a different kid with their own quirks, strengths, and secrets — all chasing mysterious relics that turn out to be way more than shiny old artefacts.

They’re connected by something deeper:

Mind. Body. Soul.

Or, as Ezra might put it: “Cool stone, glowing dagger, magic sand… LET’S GOOO!”

Book One: Ezra Malone and the Scorpion Stone

(Phase 1 Goal: £1,645)

Ezra, restless and full of energy, accidentally stows away on his uncle’s expedition plane and wakes up alone in the Guatemalan jungle. With no map and no plan, he follows whispers of a legendary relic said to unlock unstoppable resilience: the Scorpion Stone.

But the journey isn’t just physical — it’s about learning to dig deep, to keep going when everything says stop, and to discover that adventure is more than escaping boredom — it’s becoming brave enough to care.

The Scorpion Stone represents the body — resilience, energy, and the will to keep going.

️ Book Two: Diego and the Dagger of Light

Diego’s town is under threat. A ruthless developer and his shadowy enforcers are clearing the jungle to build a mega-resort. But Diego has inherited something special — his father’s journals, his grandmother’s wisdom, and a secret map pointing to a relic hidden deep in the wild: the Dagger of Light.

To protect his home, Diego must rely on logic, instinct, and strategy — and learn that courage is not loud, but clear and calculated.

The Dagger of Light represents the mind — clarity, courage, and focused intention.

Book Three: Maia and the Moon Sand

(Phase 3 – Coming Soon)

After an earthquake destroys her island and her parents are lost, Maia grows up with an elder who teaches her how to listen — to plants, to dreams, and to the island itself. Guided by visions and symbols, she follows a calling across the sea to find the sacred Moon Sand — a relic said to hold ancient wisdom and healing.

But the journey changes her. And when she returns to Samos, she doesn’t rebuild it the old way. She transforms it — through cacao, community, and compassion.

The Moon Sand represents the soul — wisdom, connection, and healing from within.
