I'm Michelle Lamia, the stepdaughter to Tim Copeland, and I'm trying to help out my mom by raising money for her to bring her husband's ashes home. He passed away on April 16th in their home from cancer and liver failure. Tim was self-employed and had to quit working weeks before he passed away and had no life insurance. My mom is disabled and now only has her income to live on. She's not asking for help with an urn or his memorial service. She just wants his ashes home with her and has raised less than half of it but needs help with the rest. If you could find it in your heart to donate, it would be greatly appreciated. Anything helps, even if it's just a dollar. I will be handling the money myself and I will make sure it goes to the funeral home where his ashes are. If you don't feel comfortable donating on here, you're more than welcome to contact me personally to send it another way. This was also unexpected. We knew that Tim had been sick for a very long time, but he just recently got diagnosed with cancer less than three weeks ago and was told he had about two months to live. So, he was helping my mom out by trying to come up with funds to help her if he passed away. But he didn't get a chance to do that as he went quickly.
