Bring Thomas Butler Home for His Final Rest

My name is Curtis Butler. I live in Waco, Texas. I just lost my best friend—my only brother. His name was Thomas Butler. Some of you might know him as Pops from the "ChrisAndPops" videos on YouTube. He had been in a nursing home here since January of 2021.

While there, he went through several very serious surgeries and hospitalizations. Although he was confined to a wheelchair and had to have everything done for him, Thomas kept a positive attitude. Everyone at the nursing home loved him. He always joked that he was going to get well and "moonwalk" out of that place, but God had other plans and called Thomas home this week.

He and I spoke privately several times about what he wanted when he eventually passed on. Thomas wanted to be buried in his hometown of Miami near our parents. The problem was that the only money he had coming in was Social Security Disability. Unfortunately, most of that went to his room, board, and care at the facility where he lived. He also did not have insurance outside of Medicare.

I am disabled as well and I don't have the money to have his body shipped home and buried. I'm praying to God for a miracle. Please help me if you can. Funds will be used to help cover travel costs and Thomas's funeral service. Please share this fundraiser with others who might be able to help.
