Third Person (Plural) Book Fundraiser

Help bring this unique film-to-book project into print!!

After five years in the making, Third Person (Plural) premiered at IFFI, 2023, a collage essay film drawing from over 200 postwar U.S. informational films and newsreels from the Library of Congress and the National Archives.

Now, after two more years of design, experimentation, and a few false starts in publishing, I have finally found a viable path to print a book companion to the film. But I need your help to cover the final stretch of printing costs.

About the Book

Third Person (Plural) isn't just a film—it’s an ongoing investigation into how images construct historical memory. The book transforms the film’s eight episodic chapters into eight distinct magazine-style issues, mimicking the format of mid-century illustrated press. Bound together, they form a striking object that is part catalogue, part critical essay, and part visual archive.
