Bring Them Home From Afghanistan
Donation protected
Hi, our names are Daisy and Red, we are sisters almost 9 months old! We are from Afghanistan. We were born in Kabul, where it’s dusty and dirty, very hot in the summer and freezing in the winter. We have had to do what we could to eat, protect and shelter ourselves with our mother. After all, most Afghan’s aren’t very nice to dogs.
We used to live in a small empty lot full of garbage with an Afghan Army machine gun nest over top of us, it was very scary. It wasn’t until one day some Canadian soldiers started to visit us. Then eventually they came and took us and let us stay with them. Thankfully they did because a few weeks later a bomb exploded right by what we use to call home destroying it and a lot of things around it.
It’s great living here with the Canadians. We have fun toys, people to play with, beds to sleep in, blankets, clean water and real food. We even got to go see a doctor and got all our shots and spaded! We love it here; however they cannot house us any longer. We are lucky enough two Canadians soldiers Kevin and Mike are ready to adopt us; the only issue we are facing is the cost to bring us to Canada unaccompanied since we can’t be brought on military flights. They need to raise 3000 for each of us for the flights to our new home.
“Hey guys, these Red and Daisy have been with us since they were pups, they mean a lot to Kevin and I. If we can’t raise at least close to the amount needed they will be put back on the streets (this is not our choice…). We have about a month to get this done (depending if we can delay the due date a bit). These dogs mean so much not only to me but to our team. I have family back home that will take care of Red for the remainder of my deployment. Daisy has a family waiting for her in Alberta. Any support will help, donations and sharing this on Facebook so more people can be aware about this. We have our mission at heart, but we also have hard feeling for Daisy and Red”

Any money that is raised in excess of what is needed will be donated to the NOWZAD group here in Kabul, Afghanistan.
Thank you!
