Imagine being in high school and having ZERO access to your interests and passions. At the high school I teach at, there has been NO theater program or classes for many years.

Despite our beautiful stage and auditorium, there is no funding for any plays, musicals, or classes in theater.

Access to a theater/drama program is what made me thrive and strive to become a better, more educated student and human being.

Maybe for you, it was sports, or student government, or perhaps like me, participating in a play or musical.

The wonderful students at our high school finally have staff - me and other teachers - willing and able to put on our first show this Spring.

We are applying for grants for next year but have ZERO FUNDING right now and we have no sets, costumes, props, etc.

Our first major cost is getting rights to perform a show.

Believe me when I say I know times are tough. It is during this time we must bolster our arts and creative outlets, especially for our kids.
