Hey beautiful humans, it’s Dean here — your friendly neighborhood whale wrangler. Our beloved Whale Art Car (once a humble VW dune buggy, now a big blue party mammal with epic seating, multiple levels, and a thumping QSC sound system) needs a little TLC before she can splash across the playa again.

Right now, she’s rocking a “beached” look — clutch and transmission gone, shocks blown, engine cranky, and somehow… water in the gas tank? (She’s really committing to the aquatic theme.)

The Mission

Raise $10,000 to cover the mechanic bill and get her back to rolling into sunrises, carrying dancers, and hosting epic DJ sets.

Why It Matters

The Whale isn’t just a vehicle — she’s a floating dance floor, a traveling cuddle puddle, a stage for eclectic DJs, and a moving piece of joy for our community. She broke down after just two days at last year’s burn, but she’s still been holding it down as a stationary art installation for parties and gatherings. Now it’s time to get her moving again!

The Whale needs major repairs to be safe and operational again. Donations will cover:
