CALLING ALL CULT FILM FREAKS: We’re resurrecting a cult classic! "TERROR OF THE TINGLER" is a fan film celebration of the original 1959 schlock masterpiece.
WHAT IS THE TINGLER?
In 1959, horror maestro William Castle shocked audiences with a simple idea: what if a parasite called “The Tingler” lives inside all of us… and the only way to stop it from killing you is to SCREAM?
OUR MISSION:
We're making a short (10–30 min) fan film that picks up in a world where The Tingler was real all along, and the last screamers are dying out. We’re bringing back the scream-inducing parasite that feeds on fear. Only this time, it's escaped the theater and crawled into a new generation of terror...what could go wrong?
WHO ARE WE?
Leading this team of freaks and weirdos is Dante Dammit. Inspired by midnight movies, pulp magazines, and punk rock, Dammit has developed her own unconventional cinematic style which has been compared to the likes of John Waters and Roger Corman. Her work has been featured in several film festivals such as the Chicago Indie Horror Film Festival, Planet 9 Film Fest, and Exposures Montreal Trans Film Festival.
This is pure fan passion, not-for-profit, and made with love and adoration for William Castle.
