My name is Alyssa Fernandez. My husband, David Fernandez, and our 3 boys, David Jr., Donovan, and Dean as well as my in-laws David Fernandez & Kim Fernandez, had an unfortunate event happen to us on 9/9/2025. After a bad storm blew through, our house had an electrical fire. The fire department did everything they could to help us find out where the fire came from and which wires started the fire, but unfortunately, they couldn't find it, which left our house destroyed since they had to rip our walls and cut our floors up. They also had to cut off our electricity and tell us we couldn't stay at our house anymore because it's unsafe for us to be there. They told us we need a licensed electrician to come out to our house and find the wire that caused the fire. From there, we'll have to rewire everything and make sure everything is up to code. After that, we'll have to fix all the walls and floors that were destroyed as well. Since we can't stay in the house, we've had to bounce back and forth from hotel to hotel. So, I made this GoFundMe to see if we could get help with hiring an electrician to start this process and fixing up the house so we can get our family back home. We appreciate any help we can get.
