Stuck at a crossroads and in need of assistance. After recently discovering a love, and quite the knack, for painting, I began looking into ways to generate an income from it.

After a HUGE response to the Desert Derp series of paintings, I did some research, had some test prints run and, as it turns out, printing from an actual painting presents a number of challenges, and nothing I tried produced a product worth selling. So it was back to research and more conversations with more professionals. While all this was happening, I had been reaching out to licensing agents in an effort to get my work in front of large companies that distribute stationery, mugs, greeting cards, and t-shirts. The effort turned out to be quite fruitful, and I currently have multiple agencies waiting on a portfolio. So here's where we get to the request for help.

I've done the research. I have a printing company lined up that uses the correct machinery, I have potential customers waiting to hear about prints, I have agencies interested in representing my art, I have the knowledge needed to get this all rolling. What I don't have are the physical tools to actually build my digital portfolio. A laptop capable of running editing software, a camera capable of taking pictures at the resolution required, lighting, and the editing software.

I've got what it takes, just not everything I need. I'm ready to turn art into a career. Please, if you are able, consider helping make this dream a reality.
