His name is Thaddeus David Young.
Thaddeus means strong heart, strong willed. It's the most suitable name for this wee fighter.

He was born Tuesday June 09, 2015, at Mount Sinai hospital in Toronto. He looked like the most perfect little boy! But what his looks didn't show, was an array of medical problems that by looking at his perfect little face, you would never see.

When Thaddeus was born, he had a hole in his heart and a reversed ventricle. In addition he also had a small blood clot by his liver as well. He has had to endure so much already in his short little life. Numerous procedures, open heart surgery and countless mri's.
Thad just got moved off the ventilator today..and moved from the cardiac critical care unit! Small steps in his very big journey!!

His parents Mike and Amanda haven't left his side. One of the hardest parts of all of this is being away from Leah, their oldest daughter. They have left her in good hands back home with gramma. It's heart breaking for them to be away from her. Thankfully they have been lucky enough to have friends they could stay with and are now currently at the Ronald McDonald house.

The second hardest part for them is financial. Although their world had stopped during all of this, the rest of the world carries on. The bills are still coming in and there is a mortgage to be paid.  Mike and amanda have had to stay in toronto since the end of May with no work and no money coming in.
This is not the time that they should be worrying about financials. They need to focus on that gorgeous baby and get him home to be with his big sister.

If you could help in anyway, I know a family that could really use the help. I don't think either Mike or Amanda would ever want to have to ask for help, but I know that they could use it.
