Hi, my name is Tanja, and I’m fundraising for my cat, Teddy.

Teddy has been living with kidney disease for some time, but this past Sunday, she got very sick. She stopped eating for over 24 hours, became severely dehydrated, and started peeing blood. Because of how serious it was, I rushed her four hours to the Twin Cities for emergency care and then had her hospitalized for several days to stabilize her.

Because she’s an older cat, and has kidney disease this illness hit her very hard, and for a while, I didn’t know if she would make it. Today, she finally ate again for the first time in days, and she’s now stable, but she still needs ongoing care and medication.

The cost of her emergency care and hospitalization completely drained my savings, and I am still $600 short of being able to cover the rest of her bills and bring her home.

Teddy is my whole world. She’s been in my life for six years, and she is truly my baby. Anything you can contribute no matter how small will help me give Teddy the care she needs and bring her home safely. If you cannot donate, sharing this fundraiser or keeping Teddy in your prayers would mean so much to me. ❤️

Update: Sadly Teddy passed away on October 6th, 2025. I am so thankful to everyone who donated, i was able to bring her home and we spent her last week of life together snuggled up in bed taking all the cat naps and enjoying all of her favorite treats until the very end.❤️ Any additional money I have received has been spent on my other cat, Daria, to buy a new scratching post and new toys to keep her happy, because I wasn't the only one who lost their best friend.
