My brother Tariq Barton was admitted into the hospital on Christmas Day after a 10 day struggle with being sick. He was just told before the ambulance was called to come take him to the hospital that our grandmother patsy had passed away. When he arrived at the hospital his pulse was 253 beats per minute ( he was on the verge of a heart attack) they the drained 4 containers full of fluid off of his lungs And we were also told he also might need dialysis and was given the diagnosis of bacterial phenomena and admitted into the ICU. He was very upset during the first few days as it broke his heart to miss his grandmas funeral. Due to covid and California he was not allowed any visitors but there was calls placed several times a day for status updates on him and things were improving he moved from the ICU to “yellow” and there was even talk of him coming home, and then while attending patsy’s funeral services today a call came in telling us that Tariqs heart had stopped and he had passed away,he coded and they brought him back and then he coded agian but could not get his heart started agian…. We need to bring my brother home so we may lay him to rest next to his uncle and grandma and so that all his many friends and family can say their goodbyes. Tariq was a true friend to all he befriended and always had a way to make everyone around laugh. His wife Mariah Castillo Barton… and Tariq did not have much when he passed so she also could use some help while she deals with how to pick up and carry on in a life with out her best friend since she was 14 years old ….please I am asking if you can donate, it would be more than appreciated if not please send your prayers …
