UPDATE 8/20/2024
Tabatha was able to reach out to me. She was picked up from the hospital today by her best friend of 25 years.
I would like to remind you all that this battle with Tabatha is not over and we are asking for your help to bring her home. She has a car full of belongings with no car. No housing. No job. No food. My mother and I desperately need her here in Arizona with us so we can look after her.
In most cases like these those with mental illness are lost in the system. This can go many ways. We lose our loved one to drugs, sex trafficking (which she wasn't far from), or worse DEAD. We want to help Tabatha get the correct help, whether that is to be with a loved one being looked after or her getting the guidance she needs to be able to survive on her own.
At this point Tabatha takes medication for her mental disabilities. If she continues the street life we could all only imagine how much access she would have to meds.
Tabatha only made it to the hospital because she is underweight. Her body is starting to shut down because she doesn't have access to meals. To us this is a vital situation that Tabatha needs help. Tabatha needs her meds, meds require a proper diet.
Thank you to every single one of you that changed your profile pic for awareness, shared the post and continue this short journey with us!
I am unable to do this alone and am asking the community that gave their hearts to simply lend a helping hand as we are not done helping Tabatha just yet!
Thank you Sedalia, Kansas City, Independence, Knob Noster, Belton communities of Missouri! You are forever our HOME!
Update funds will be going towards: Plane ticket for Tabatha from KC, MO to Pheonix AZ, full size mattress (she is physically disabled and will need a good one, they can get pricey here in AZ), food, clothes, shoes, room decor (she needs the sense of belonging and want).

Spare room for Tabatha!

------------------------------------------------------------
My name is Melissa Price, My sister Tabatha Everett has been missing since 8-7-2024. I filed a missing persons report, but KCPD wont put her in the database cause "she doesn't qualify and can go missing if she wants"!
UPDATE: Tabatha has been put into the MSHP Database!
My sister reached out to over 20 of our friends and family looking for a place to stay. She DOES NOT WANT TO BE MISSING! SHE WANTS TO BE LOVED AND WANTED!
I have created this GoFundMe for my mother and I to go to KC and get the police to take this seriously!
Update: Now to get this on the news! Spread the word!!
Tabatha was taken to Relax Inn off Blue Parkway in KCMO, without phone service, a job, money or food. She was on medication and we do not know if she is without them! 8-7-2024
She filed disability for a physical disability but she has a MENTAL DISORDER. We fear she is losing herself as time goes on. She messaged me on messenger just a few days before she went missing stating "I hate my life". This is NOT something my sister has EVER said to me. We talk daily, 2-3xs a day.... I haven't heard from her in 12 days at this point!
She is NOT into drugs or alcohol. She was recently doing well on her mental meds, with being on the streets we can only imagine she if suffering without them.
My sister is known for her amazingly kind heart! She wants nothing but to be accepted in this world. Please help us get to her in KC and begin the search party!
My mother is physically disabled making traveling difficult for her. I need her by my side and want her by my side.
We urge those that she reached out to to contact Detective Guinn with case no. 24063533 @ (816) 234/5043 and give every detail of your last interaction with my sister! She was begging for help. We need to flood the phone lines and tell them just how much she is loved, missed and wanted!
Also please reach out to the News Media Fox4 News in Kansas City @ (816) 753/4567 and spread the word that we need more coverage in the area!
Update: The story has been brought to one persons attention, we need more! Keep the calls coming!!!
Funds will go towards: Plane tickets (me and my mother) to and from KC, food, rental car, and any supplies needed to get the word out. T-shirt, buttons, flyers, posters, etc.
