Support Our University of Rhode Island Student Film: "Sworn to History"

Hello friends, family, and film enthusiasts! We're thrilled to announce our upcoming student short film, "Sworn to History," written by Audrey Haskins, produced as a capstone project for the University of Rhode Island.

Logline: When high schooler Ellie Madison discovers a letter revealing a family secret, her world turns upside down as she meets her biological father and uncovers truths her parents tried to hide.

Director's Note: In fourth grade, my older brother gave up his daughter for adoption. Ever since, I've wondered about meeting my niece and still hope to find her through an ancestry website. Sworn to History explores a similar emotional journey—a teenage girl's discovery of her adoption and her decision to build a relationship with her biological father.

We are raising funds to compensate our talented cast, secure filming locations, and cover essential production costs. Every donation brings our story closer to the screen, supporting independent filmmaking and local artists.
