Help Sol Coffeehouse Launch Its First Coffee Truck!

Hi, my name is Cindy, and I’m the proud founder of Sol Coffeehouse, a dream that’s been brewing for over two years—and rooted in 15 years of experience in the coffee community. Sol was born from a deep love of community, quality ingredients, and the belief that good drinks can bring people together.

Sol Coffeehouse is more than just a place to get your morning coffee. It's about real ingredients, no shortcuts, and creating a space where people feel good about what they’re putting in their bodies. Every syrup we use is made in-house with simple, natural ingredients—no artificial flavors. Because you deserve better.

For the past two years, we’ve served the Laredo community through vendor markets and pop-ups, building meaningful relationships with local businesses, creatives, and families. We’ve seen how coffee can be a bridge to connection—and we’re ready to take the next step.

We need your help to raise $21,000 to purchase and license our very first coffee truck. This truck will allow us to:

- Have a consistent and visible presence in the community

- Serve at events, pop-ups, and outreach programs

- Offer catering and partner with local causes

- Take one step closer to our dream of opening a brick-and-mortar café

Sol means “sun”—a symbol of hope, light, and new beginnings. That’s exactly what this truck represents for me and my family. I come from a low-income background, and my mother is diabetic. Over the years, I’ve seen how the food and drinks we consume affect our health, and I made it my mission to offer something better. Something people can trust.

This business is personal. It’s my chance to break the cycle of poverty, provide for my daughter, support my mother, and one day give back even more—through job creation and charitable work in our community.
