Hi hello, you might know me as Skele or as Vee or even my Government Name, Vayda. Regardless, I'm in need of you guys’ help. My boyfriend (who, if you know me, you probably know as Mel or as Nox) and I are long distance, and we're planning to fix this in the Summer of 2025 when both of our leases are up at the end of July.

With how Everything™️ is turning out, we’re going to rescue him from Iowa (ew) and bring him here to Maryland—a sanctuary state for transgender people—making sure both of us are safe.

Thing is, moving is expensive AF!! While we do have a savings account that we set up specifically for this and are setting aside a little each check, it'll be tight at best, scary at worst.

We’re aiming for $5,000 because we got a quote for a uhaul with a towing rig for Mel’s car (there's NO way that thing would make it through a thousand and thirty-something-mile drive) and that alone is $2,000.

We have some planned stops along the route that should save us a bit, but we'll still need $ for the travel and lodging. (1,030-ish miles, y'all!)

Then of course we have all the fun things like deposits, pet fees, first month's rent, and any other BS fees that we will inevitably have thrown at us when we move in.

We don't have to meet the goal, but any little bit would help immensely. Even just spreading the campaign via social media, email, or word of mouth would make a huge difference for us.
