My name is Guillermo Mora, and I’m an Honor Roll High School Senior. On September 24, 2025, my father, Silviano Mora Vera, was detained by ICE while I waited for the school bus. He is a legal, documented immigrant, and our family is working with an attorney to appeal his detention.

Since then, I’ve cut back on my time at school to help keep our family afloat. We’re doing everything we can, but the legal fees, filings, and travel costs are piling up faster than we can pay them.

Your donation will go directly to attorney retainers, court filings, document translations, and transportation to hearings. If we raise more than the immediate legal need, remaining funds will cover rent, groceries, and school expenses so I can stay on track to graduate.
