On September 26, our beloved Shauna Richie tragically lost her life to domestic violence in Roxboro, NC. She was only 38 years old and leaves behind three beautiful girls—the youngest just 7 months old.

Right now, Shauna’s children are not with their loved ones. They are facing the trauma of losing their mother while being separated from the family who loves them most.

Shauna’s sister, Maryetter “Beadie” Richie, who lives in Texas, is determined to come to North Carolina to bring her sister’s remains home and to reunite her nieces with their family.

Unfortunately, Shauna had no insurance, and the financial burden of travel, funeral costs, and caring for three children is overwhelming.
