Bring seven gorgeous Iraqi puppies to their new UK homes

Hi, my name is Tom and I’m fundraising to help bring seven gorgeous puppies from their current home in Erbil, Iraqi Kurdistan to their new forever homes in the UK.

Joey, Trigger, Badger, Derik, Billie, Saafi and Finley are approaching three months old and are truly gorgeous, well natured pups. Rescued as newborns, they’ve been looked after by friends in Erbil, with the help and advice from War Paws Erbil, an incredible charity specialising in rescuing and rehoming dogs from war zones and areas of civil conflict.

The pups are getting too big for their current living arrangements and happily we’ve managed to find seven, incredible forever homes for them in the UK. However the process to get the pups homes is complex and expensive; they need an assortment of vaccines and will require a three month period of quarantine at War Paws under the careful eye of their veterinary professionals. After quarantine they’ll get flown to Europe and driven onto the UK.

The puppies’ new families are funding the cost of quarantine and flying the pups home. The issue however is a lack of available quarantine space at War Paws Erbil; they only have space for two pups at a time.

We’re desperate to get the pups to their new homes as quickly as possible. War Paws has offered to build an additional quarantine facility on site, which would allow the pups to quarantine together and get them home in the shortest amount of time. War Paws estimates the cost of this additional facility is $2,500; by donating you’ll not only help us get these pups home faster, but you’ll be providing War Paws with an additional quarantine facility to help them with their incredible work in the future.

Any support is appreciated and any funds above and beyond those required for the quarantine facility will go to War Paws to support their work.
