Bring Semler (Queer Christian Artist) to Buffalo

I've never used Gofundme.

But some people are worth risking for. And the courage Grace Baldridge (stage name: Semler) has shown as the first openly queer Christian artist to hit #1 on Christian music charts with their EP Preacher's Kid is astounding. Read more of their story and interview with NPR here .

Responding to a late night instagram post, Semler is willing to come to Buffalo--actually, to our church--for a concert. To make it happen (there are a lot of moving parts), we need 5k in the next 2 weeks.

As the first More Light Congregation in Western New York, Westminster Presbyterian Church has historically stood with and by LGBTQ+ persons since the 70s. You might have heard about us in Huffington Post when we hosted the First Presbyterian Queer Wedding in New York State. What a night of celebrating inclusive Christian spaces this could be! Semler has made history. Can you help us continue ours with a night of celebrating Queer Christian music?
