Rescued to Stay Together: Santi and Nana

I’m Rebeca’s sister, and she’s a tireless advocate for animals. For years, she has rescued and rehabilitated dozens of stray dogs and cats, giving them a second chance at life. Many of them found loving homes thanks to her dedication — but there were two she could never let go: Santi and Nana.

They came into her life under heartbreaking conditions. Santi was rescued on the brink of death, physically weak and emotionally shattered from abuse. He still carries deep emotional scars. Nana was also found in critical condition, and to this day, her body bears visible marks from everything she endured. With love and patience, Rebeca gave them both a new life, filled with care and happiness. They are her family, and the bond they share is unbreakable.

Right now, Santi and Nana are being cared for by our parents, far from Rebeca, who currently lives abroad. The separation has been incredibly painful — not just for her, but for the dogs too, who don’t understand why their person is no longer with them. That’s why we’re asking for your help to reunite them.

Since we’re unable to travel, their journey will be arranged through a specialized international pet transport agency, ensuring that Santi and Nana travel safely and receive all the care they need.
