Bring Safe Bars to Richmond!

Safe Bars is a DC-based organization that trains hospitality staff to recognize and deal with sexual aggression, harassment, and assault in places where alcohol is served. We have partnered with Safe Harbor and USBG Richmond to start our own chapter here in RVA.  We've got a great team of industry rock stars and violence prevention experts. Now we need to raise the money to be trained as teachers so we can go out in the city and train others!  How will we use this money? It goes towards our initial 12-hour intensive workshop (normal training sessions will only be about 2 hours) plus materials to start our own chapter. Safe Bars DC does not require dues or annual payments, this one-time charge gives us ongoing access to both their established training and marketing materials, and new materials they may come up with in the future. Let's make Richmond a safer city to hang out in!
