Help us celebrate New Pratima Pratishtha Mahotsava in our Temple in Birmingham, AL!

Jai Jinendra!

Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,

This fund raising is being done on behalf of The Jain Society of Greater Birmingham, Alabama. We are thrilled to announce a momentous step forward for our spiritual home: the installation (Pratishtha) of a new Pratima (idol) in our temple in Birmingham, Alabama. This sacred event, which will take place in August 15-17, 2025, marks a powerful milestone in our community’s spiritual journey.

We humbly seek your support to help bring this vision to life.
Why This Matters

Our temple has been a center of peace, learning, and spiritual growth for years.

By commissioning this Pratima, we will be able to perform sacred rituals in our temple, in full accordance with Jain traditions.

How Your Contribution Will Help

We are raising funds to cover:

  • Creation of the Pratima in India: Handcrafted by skilled artisans and consecrated with the Adhar Abhishek ritual.

  • International Shipping & Customs: Safe transport of the Pratima from India to Birmingham.

  • New Raised Platform: Constructing a proper, elevated space to respectfully enshrine the Pratima.

  • Pratishtha Celebration (2 days): Hosting religious ceremonies, pujas, and community meals during the sacred inauguration event.

  • Ongoing Temple Maintenance: Supporting the upkeep of our temple to ensure it continues to thrive.

Our Fundraising Goal

We aim to raise $75,000 to cover all associated costs.

Every donation—big or small—brings us closer to fulfilling this beautiful dream. Your support not only helps build the physical foundation but strengthens our collective spirit and commitment to Jain values of ahimsa (non-violence), aparigraha (non-possessiveness), and satya (truth).

Save the Date

The Pratishtha Mahotsav is scheduled in the weekend of August 15-17,2025. Our amazing community and all the generous donors will be warmly invited to attend and celebrate this divine occasion with us.

Please donate, share, and support generously. Together, let's build a lasting legacy for our Jain community in Birmingham.

With gratitude and blessings,
