Bring Rob Back to the US.

Hi, we’re Kari and Tenise and we’re trying to raise the funds to bring Rob home.

On Saturday, March 19th, Rob got on a plane to travel to Milan, Italy for work. During the flight, Rob became seriously ill. By Sunday afternoon, he was admitted to a hospital in Milan with the diagnosis of Appendicitis. It took over 12 hours to go from the diagnosis to surgery as they discovered he was too ill to transfer to a hospital with more advanced capabilities.

He is currently recovering in the hospital in Italy with a concurrent diagnosis of severe Peritonitis due to his appendix rupturing well before he received any surgical care or antibiotics. We would like to bring him home as soon as possible to receive care within the United States under the supervision of his normal Physician. He is also expected to be off of work for several weeks if not longer due to needs of recovery.

What our GFM goal goes to:

1) $4500 for Household Bills, Groceries, Medications, Dog Food, and co-pays for appointments for the next 3 months.

2) $2,346.67 for one person to fly to Milan and back with him. This ticket is for Economy Class. Any/all extra would go towards a ‘Lay Flat’ seat for Rob for his flight back to the US.

3) $205.00 for the Expedited Emergency Passport and Visa fees.

4) $175 for COVID-19 PCR test as required prior to boarding the flight.

5) $1500 for incidentals while in Italy (Taxis, food, medicine, etc…)

6) $550 for dog sitting for our 4 dogs.

Any over funding will go to:

1) ‘Lay Flat’ seat for Rob for his flight home.

2) Breathing room for finances and paying of Italian medical bills.
