Our family needs a Christmas Miracle! My name is Kassie and I need help saving our 11 week old puppy River. She is currently awaiting surgery for what they think is an obstruction. She’s a beautiful blue eyed, spunky love bug Pitsky that means that world to us. Her eyes and spirit light up any place she goes and she’s sooo special! Monday afternoon River started throwing up, rejecting all food, water and had foul smelling throw up. We took her to the vet immediately. They still can’t rule out what’s causing it. We’ve already drained our accounts trying to save her and we need help covering the rest of her care! Please help my kids bring their puppy back home for Christmas. She is the missing piece to our family and we love her so much!! The estimate is $6,920. We’ve already paid $1,800 towards her care for the past two previous days and the deposit for today. We’ve only had her for 21 days and would love to love her for a lifetime. Please help us help her! Any help would be truly appreciated!

Update #1 Update: She's out of surgery! It was 6 inches from being able to come out but it was stuck stuck! It was a yellow/green soft foam thing they aren't sure but they took a picture. She's on two fluids and was horrible before to the point her intestines were drying up. Her blood pressure, gums and etc are already all improving! She's been out since 6pm! She may come home tomorrow but most likely Friday. Thank you for all the support and shares

Update #2: River had a very rough night. Her blood sugar and blood pressure were extremely low. They have her stabilized though and she is starting to show some progress. It's going to be a long road to recovery for her since she's soooo young and the dehydration was so extensive they said. They are going to wean the dextrose out of her fluids this morning (for her blood sugar) to see how she does and because her levels are starting to stabilize. I will have another update later today. She won't be coming home today she's not ready. They said she seems very sad and missing us. Just keep all the prayers, shares and love going

Update #3: River is starting to wake up a bit and is becoming a little lively in the kennel! She's protesting she still hasn't eaten or drank anything. They've tried numerous foods, treats and different options. She just needs a little more time to feel better. Her stomach, intestines and little body have been through so much. She's still progressing but we still need all the prayers, shares and support! Thank you so much everyone

Update #4: 12/26/2025 she still won't eat, she seems very sad and still not acting like a puppy. They want me to come up to try to get her to eat and then if I can't even get her to eat they're going to have to do more care before she can come home they did add another nausea med last night but it doesn't seem to be doing anything. There is a few other options they can do but they think her seeing us will help the most. Please keep
