Bring relief to a family who has experienced injustice

Hi my name is Shannon and i am a single father with 2 young girls fulltime. In 2022 my aunty gifted me 10 acres of land because i helped her through her grieving process after my uncle passed away. I was very thankful and began building my house which i worked 7 days a week for 3 years straight to build. We slept in a caravan for those 3 years but i reassured the kids that it would be worth it because soon they would have their own bedrooms! In september of 2024 my aunty offered to babysit the girls while i went to lunch with a friend. I came back to pick up the girls earlier than expected and my auntys car wasnt in the driveway, but her boyfriend who she had only recently met on the internet was there. He came outside frantically yelling from the verandah, "wtf are you doing here?!" I said im here to pick up my kids where are they? He responded with, "not here" and went back inside. I found this very weird as i lived on the same block in the caravan and this man was acting suspicious. My friend who was with me said to go inside and see if my kids are there, so i did, and yes my kids were in there. I told the kids to get in the car and we drove off in a panicked state. I immediately called my aunty and told her what her boyfriend did and she laughed and said that hes just tired and to leave it be. I couldnt accept this response and kept telling her i wasnt comfortable and i wanted answers. My aunty then snapped and warned me if i say anything she will destroy my life. So i went to the police. The police said they couldnt do anything and that he hadnt committed a crime. However the police did notify my aunty that i had been in there. 48 hours later i was served with a dv and we were dragged off the property by police losing all of our possessions and our house. Then, my aunty contacted child services and told them horrible lies about me to further vilify me. We were homeless and being attacked left right and centre. My aunty then spread lies about me to my work colleagues and all my family members to isolate me. After 6 months of being homeless we finally ģot a rental and i was able to get the kids in school etc. We all needed therapy which is not bulk billed, and i have been diagnosed with complex post traumatic stress disorder. I have a lawyer, and he has been charging me 500 a week to keep the case alive against my aunty, but we have hit a fork in the road. We need a barrister because of the complexity of the case. At this point, i am not fighting for money, but justice and ultimately closure, so we can move forward with our lives. My ability to work has been greatly affected, i have been working however only at about 20% of what i used to be able to, but honestly im really trying, but i need help.
