Hi everyone, my name is Brittani. My boyfriend, Ramy, unexpectedly lost his younger brother, Razy (pictured on the right). We are raising money to bring him back home, host a service, and provide a burial. Razy was a 2020 Parsippany Hills High School graduate. He left home around the summer of 2021 when he was 20 years old in search of a different life style. Ramy and Razy had a difficult childhood. They grew up in the Bronx. Ramy and Razy were best friends and Ramy always did his best to look out for his little brother. When Razy was 5 years old, he was diagnosed with Leukemia and hospitalized for months. During the time he was in the hospital, their dad tragically passed away. With their mom unable to care for them, Ramy and Razy had moved to Parsippany, NJ to live with their Grandma and Grandpa. After roughly two years of battling leukemia, Razy went into remission. A few years later, Ramy and Razy lost their grandma in 2012, and their mom suddenly in 2014. Ramy and Razy struggled as they learned to navigate life with so much grief and tragedy at a young age. In 2021, Razy decided to make his way to Los Angeles, leaving his family, grief, and trauma behind him. While in LA, his contact with his family back home was minimal. He experienced health conditions while living on the streets, and became a part of the LGBT community, ultimately going by a different name at the end of his life. His life was cut short at the age of 24. His cause of death is still unknown, but we need to bring him back and grieve the little brother that we lost a few years ago, and to grieve the sibling that we never got to know. Their grandpa passed away in 2023 and we thought this would be the last family tragedy for some time. We truly appreciate any donation that you can make to assist with the cost of bringing him back home from CA, funeral, and burial costs.
