Bring Rakeem Home to Texas

We lost beloved Rakeem Robinson Monday, October 24, when an ongoing chronic condition stole him from our lives. The love for Rakeem and the outpouring of emotion has been extraordinary. We were all profoundly affected by Rakeem’s kindness, brilliance and love for all humanity. A brilliant light has gone out forever.

As we celebrate everything Rakeem meant to us, his family faces significant costs to bring him home and celebrate his life. These expenses are unexpected, huge and–of course–impossible to plan for. Please consider making a gift to ease this burden for his family. It’s important that we raise these funds quickly. Funeral expenses must be paid upfront. There are no payment plans or deposits. Rakeem’s family needs to pay $4000 this Monday. Additional expenses for his services and interment will total more than $11,000.
