'Rainbow’s End' - where the pot of gold comes at a price.

Rainbow’s End is a bold, atmospheric thriller from Scuti Productions, set in the late 1990s, against the chilling backdrop of South Australia’s real-life backpacker disappearance era.
Two wild, unapologetic American women roll into a near forgotten outback town for one final hurrah before settling into suburban life. They’ve lived loud and loose and they're not about to let murder rumours or dusty headlines about missing tourists stop them from chasing freedom one last time.
As they roll in with good tunes, a bottle of bourbon, and no itinerary, they arrive in a place called Rainbow’s End. They’re keen to have fun, explore, and immerse themselves in their surroundings.
But this town has secrets and not everyone who checks in gets to leave.
What Lies Beneath
Rainbow’s End isn’t just a town. It’s a trap built from sunburnt smiles and crumbling secrets.
The girls think they’re passing through, but the town already has other plans.
There's a journalist quietly digging where he's not wanted, a detective caught between duty and denial, and motel owners you'd never want to cross.
Some places don’t want to be found. Some stories fight back when they're told.
The Vision
Think Thelma & Louise meets Wolf Creek, with the psychological unease of The Shining. Rainbow’s End blends atmosphere, tension, and layered character arcs into a slow-burn thriller built on power, perception, and survival.
Globally accessible with culturally diverse characters, but uniquely South Australian in texture and tone, this is outback cinema with grit and intrigue.
