Bring Rainbow Shabbat to the next level

Cantorial Soloist Raymond Zachary has written a series of programs and curricula called "Rainbow Shabbat". Raymond appears in full drag as Miss Livinya Karr to teach, sing, and advocate for inclusion and representation in Jewish communities. Some of the programs available are an Erev Shabbat Service, Shabbat Morning Torah and text study, Chazzanut Drag show, K-3 and 4-6 religious school lesson plans, and more.

Rainbow Shabbat has already been successful and extremely well received at over 10 Synagogues up and down the West Coast and in neighboring states. The Importance of this program is unparalleled. Representation on the Bima is critical in the upbringing of the next generation of inclusive jews. It is my mission to show any and all LGBTQIA+ Jewish kids and young adults that you are not only welcome to be a Jew-in-a-pew, but you can take an active part in Jewish leadership.

Plans to expand Rainbow Shabbat's reach are well underway, but that's where you come in. Your donation will help bring awareness about Rainbow Shabbat to congregations across the country and even internationally. These funds will be used to subsidize the costs of these programs. We have some very exciting things on the horizon, and with your help, we can bring Rainbow Shabbat to every community and usher in a new era of love and inclusion.
