Meet Prim — Our Backyard Hero

Hi everyone, meet Prim! Prim is a beloved rescue cat who joined our family years ago. She’s not just a pet—she’s our backyard hero. For years, she’s bravely protected our livestock from predators, earning a few battle scars along the way.

Two weeks ago, Prim was taken from our yard by a predator. We searched tirelessly for almost two full weeks with no luck. Heartbroken, we finally accepted the worst and even held a small memorial in her honor.

But in a twist straight out of Homeward Bound, Prim found her way home the very next day.

She was in terrible condition—weak, wounded, and barely hanging on. We rushed her to the vet, where she’s remained in critical care ever since. She’s receiving IV fluids, antibiotics, and has undergone surgeries to clean and repair deep lacerations caused by the attack.

Prim is fighting hard to recover, and now we’re fighting alongside her. Her vet bills are climbing, and we humbly ask for your help. Any donation—big or small—will go directly toward her care and healing.
