Bring Phil's Music Back To Life

Phil McCoy suffered a devastating stroke in July 2014.  Although this stroke has robbed Phil of much of the use of his left arm, hand and leg, it has not taken away his creative soul, his musical passion, or his sense of humour.
A prominent member of the North Bay music scene for many years prior to his stroke, Phil played for countless bands in countless bars in the area. That desire to be heard is still strong, but unable to play his guitar now, his music is locked inside.
All you music buffs can identify with  his frustration. All of our numerous friends in the health care field can certainly understand and relate to his discouraging situation. Phil tries to channel his creativity by writing poetry, children's books and a blog for other stroke survivors. He joined our Therapy Harp Circle last year, giving him back some of his musical mojo.
Through the Harp Circle, Phil met Jason Brock, a talented local Chapman Stick player.  (see YouTube...Jason plays the Chapman Stick)   A former bass player, Jason took up the "stick" when an injury forced him to play using only one hand. What an inspiring idea for Phil!!
Phil has been unable to work since his stroke, so expensive musical instruments are out of reach. We would LOVE to be able to raise the funds required to  purchase a refurbished Chapman Stick for Phil.
Please help us to give this gift of music back to our buddy.
