Hello everyone,
I’ve been a Keys native for about eight years now. I started out working at Islamorada Beer Company when they were just getting started, and now I’m with M.E.A.T., Meat Eatery And Taproom, one of the best burger joints in Florida.
About seven months ago, in April, I woke up at 3 AM to a strange, hissing noise in my left ear. I wasn’t sure what was going on, so I went to see a doctor. The ENT prescribed a seven-day course of steroids. During those days, I developed amnesia and struggled with severe insomnia, getting only around 10 hours of sleep over 10 days. The ringing in my ear continued relentlessly.
I eventually saw an audiologist who introduced me to Lenire, a new system designed to help people with tinnitus. It uses gentle electrical stimulation through the tongue combined with sound therapy, and it has an 88% success rate in reducing symptoms. For the past seven months, I’ve been living with debilitating ringing that lasts 18 to 20 hours a day. It’s severely impacted my life—I can’t concentrate, and I’m only able to get 4-5 hours of sleep a night.
Lenire offers hope for relief, but it’s costly, with a price of $4,600. This isn’t a cure, but it could bring the intensity of the ringing down from a level 9 to a much more manageable level, allowing me to sleep and live normally again.
I’m reaching out for help because I’m at a loss for what to do. This device could truly change my life, but the cost is beyond my reach. Any support you can provide to help me get this treatment would mean the world to me. Thank you all so much, and God bless.
