My beautiful sister, Candace Nichole Ann Barnett, a devoted mother of five, tragically lost her life on October 2, 2025, after being struck by a train while walking on a railroad track. The circumstances surrounding her passing are still under investigation, but what we do know is that her life was taken far too soon, leaving behind a family torn apart by grief.

Candace was more than just a sister to me; she was a loving mother, a cherished family member, and a precious soul who brought joy to everyone around her. Her children are now without their loving mother, and our family is struggling to cope with the immense loss.
