Bring Peace to Bob Beyer and his Family

Dear friends,

We urgently reach out to you today to support The Beyer Family with the passing of their beloved father, Bob Beyer. In the past four years, Bob had survived diabetes, necrotizing fasciitis, lymphoma, chemo, and radiation therapy. Bob was hospitalized on May 22nd, just four days before his daughter’s wedding. On June 12th, 2023, Bob passed away after a grueling three-week-long hospital stay that should have ended much differently.

There are no words for how much his family loved him, and they know that so many others feel the same. Bob was THE hardest worker. He loved everyone so much, but he also held in too much of his stress and worry and took on too much of the stress and worry of others. He had the biggest heart and only wanted to see people do well and be well. He gave people not only second, but third and even fourth chances because he believed in them. He would do whatever he could to help those in need without hesitation, even when he had nothing to give, but he was always the last person to ask for help for himself.

For more than 35 years, Bob was the general manager of the Riverview Restaurant where he went to great lengths to make everyone feel like family. He was affectionately known throughout town as “Riverview Bob” and took great pride in being a resource for many people and organizations in need. He enjoyed getting to know people from all walks of life and saw each person as an individual with their own story to share.

Bob had a heart of gold, but he never had the opportunity to acquire wealth to cover the expenses associated with his last month of life nor was he able to prepare for his own funeral costs. Any financial assistance provided will be used to alleviate the financial burden of funeral expenses and related costs for Bob’s family. Information regarding Bob’s funeral will be posted in the coming days.
