Hi everyone,

I never thought I’d be the one writing something like this — asking for help isn’t something that comes easily to me. But right now, I’m at a loss and my sweet girl Bailey needs all the help she can get.

Bailey recently got into something she shouldn’t have — a piece of horse hoof — and unfortunately, it’s become lodged inside her. What started as a scary situation has turned into something serious. She’s currently at the vet receiving fluids and care, but they just called In the surgery team. It is between $9,000 and $10,000, to start as long as she has no complications with her colon once they get in there.

Bailey means the world to me — she’s family. She’s been my best friend, my shadow, and my comfort through everything life throws at me. Her smile and happy tail are what brighten even the hardest days, and right now that smile is missing. Watching her in pain and feeling helpless is heartbreaking.
